Pretty good Epic thread

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

Re: Novak Djokovic: It's time for another Grand Slam

Been quite a year for Novak.

Time for another slam? How about 2?
Wimbledon and No. 1 ranking are priorities this year? Got them both in the same week.

What else does he want? World peace? For Jessica Alba to accept my marriage proposal?

Re: Novak Djokovic: It's time for another Grand Slam

its always a good thing to look back...

during the war...

anyway. who would've thought eh? I remember sometime in october last year, some of us here (op, unlce fats I think, yours truly) pondered if this might be the year, with the talking point being a collective approval of the thought how it was good our dear nole chose hopman cup for his preparation, and how crucial it would be he takes the first slam of the year. it was, if only...

now, him winning down under, while plausible in itself, never ever, even in the craziest of minds, was thought that that win would spur him to such highs he is at now. its rather incredible. what is it, like 52-1? got rid of all the ailments, with two slams in the bag, no 1 in the bag.... nadal in THE BAG!?

I simply must express my amazement once more, with the exclamation mark - !

and yeah - props to all the believers out there

reliability...

Yeah it's truly an outstanding achievement and something that will be remembered for many years. It's still too fresh in our minds to really sink in the immensity if it all... better an image than 1000 words.

I can't even imagine what kind of raving would ensue, if Gasquet achieved this year what Novak has. Luckily, we'll never have to find out

I'd love to find out but first Richard should apologize: 'People, I'm sorry, I could not choose fans. If I could Grassquet would be excluded. I am ashamed.'

'If you don't like where you are, than change it. You are not a tree'

Why would he want to exclude a great fan as me. Typical rubbish from a Noletard again.
