Question How old do you think Rafa will be when Murray/Djok beat him at Roland Garros?

Do you see either Murray or Djokovic beating Rafa at Roland Garros? How old would Rafa have to be for that to happen? If Rafa is old when beatable at RG that would also mean Murray/Djokovic are old, so I don't see it happening really. But, Djokovic can stay close with Rafa on clay, although not sure about Roland Garros. On clay I don't think Djokovic really goes for broke to the extend Soderling did when he beat Rafa.

Murray beating Rafa on clay anywhere

Andy will probably always be a clay mug, sadly.

Novak could well do it this year.

Juan Martin Del Potro

But he lost 23 times against you.
's right. We have to also throw into the mix. But I do not think it is currently the decisive factor. But he has achieved in my opinion too much. Maybe this is crucial if I move him even closer after major victories. But 14 or 17 Grand Slam titles is a significant difference. At the present time there is no question that he must be the greater player than me.

nole may be, but not murray

Rafa! Rafa! Rafa!

Epic movies, like brokeback mountain, are seldom found in the industry or worthy for the mainstream viewer. As often as I have watched the clips of this movie, I always find something more to it. For one, the gay stuff doesn't enter the picture for me, only the dimension of the highest love I have ever witnessed in life or on film.

Murray

Nole might do it one day but I dunno if he has the endurance to last 5 gruesome sets at RG, maybe a 3-set victory in one of the clay masters

Rafael "The Matador of Spin" Nadal
Roger “The Magician of Precision” Federer
Del Potro, Ferrer, Haas, Zeballos

Re: How old do you think Rafa will be when Murray/Djok beat him at Roland Garros?

Interesting thing about Murray, he obviously knows how to beat Rafa at hardcourt slams. Not sure he can hurt Rafa on grass, although their sets were close, but still 6 straight sets to Rafa at Wimbledon. But there is an impression that Murray knows more about the Rafa game than any other opponent, I wouldn't be surprised if he's a threat to Rafa once he gets comfortable on clay (which he may never, we'll see).

Re: How old do you think Rafa will be when Murray/Djok beat him at Roland Garros?

Murray has to beat the Monacos and Ferrers of the world on clay before even thinking about challenging Rafa (heck, even Roger)

The issue here is that he has an amazing footwork on hard but it is quite the opposite on clay, he doesn't look comfortable moving in the surface

Once he gets past that he might have a shot but I don't see it

Roger “The Magician of Precision” Federer
Del Potro, Ferrer, Haas, Zeballos

Yeah I'm sure you would

They'll never beat him probably, why do people think Djokovic and Murray have all that time head of them? They're only 1 year younger than Rafa.

Djokovic always has a solid chance. Apart from that dud USO final, Djokovic has managed to raise his level quite a bit against Rafa and shown some serious game.
The other guy in the title should be JMDP, not Murray.
