How are the youngsters prepping up for OZ?

Grigor Richard etc

Does anyone know what these players and their friends are doing to get themselves into the best possible shape for the Australian Open ? Any warm up tourneys ? I just can't believe how rare it is for the young players to do well at the slams these days

Talk about an irrelevant thread eh?

Gasquet must be at a club working out his respiratory system.

I think it's safe to say that was a reference to Berankis, not Gasquet

Berankis is called Ricardas.

Richard = Gasquet.

I don't know excatly, it's been months, not sure why. I'm still used to Ricardas and would probably call him that, but since it was about youngsters, it has to be him.

If he did change his name, it's a huge joke. Guy has no personality.

Berankis is being considerate. He knows how difficult it is for some to pronounce his old name

Well it's always good to open your head and learn new languages, right?

Actually the Lithuanian name "Ričardas" is the same as English name "Richard" and pronounces with ending as "Richard-as".

Re: How are the youngsters prepping up for OZ?

I guessed as much that it's the Lithuanian version of Richard, but still doesn't answer why change the name. It's really not difficult to pronounce nor is that a reason to change your name in my eyes. Sounds more individual with Ričardas
