I thought they paid SOME hospitality in qualifying of GS, pity that they don't, at least something.

He plays Bolelli in the 1st round.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

I think they get a per diem(like players in the main draw, but smaller) so maybe he is trying to share a hotel room to save money.

baseball and football gather overall more benjamins than tennis and thus theres more money to be spread around. at the same time i'd guess that for every kid that wants to be a tennis player, there are 100 kids who want to be footballers. therefore at the end youve got to consider the size of the samples. sure, more footballers are rich when compared to tennis players but then again, there are many more footballers than tennis players.

I'll share a hotel room with Amir. Heck, I'd pay for the whole thing

Dear Networthy,

I am Amir Weintraub's agent/pimp.

Please PM me with details of how many nights you would like with Amir.

Please also provide what services you would be expecting.

With thanks,

ranks 100-300/400 are very much under appreciated financially... match fixing may be less of a factor should eking out an existence here be fractionally more bearable... i say less, probly fractionally less tbh...

He's a pretty cute guy.

I'm sorry for Amir, been supporting him lately and checking his results, but Simone will have to beat him. Hopefully he can recover for future weeks.

Ah, I think he means a player, but you can try to let him know on facebook, his reaction should be fun

He has a girlfriend, so I wouldn't count on him.

Some of this is inspiring to read

Hope Amir keeps grinding

I love all aspects of TENNIS.

Federer - The Artist
Murray - The Tactician
Nalbandian - The Ballstriker
Llodra - The S/V

Too bad Amir lost to Bolelli, hope he can continue on make the US Open qualies.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Amir reached semifinals in Penza challenger and will be ranked in the top 200 for the first time next monday His spot in the US open qualies should be pretty safe now!
Did he update his blog in the meantime?

Any new posts from Amir? I just saw he is in Bangkok SF, and that his ranking is around 190, if he wins here he would be near 150, not bad at all.

He is playing some weak challengers, but he beat Kravchuk 4 and 2 today so maybe he has a shot to be a good chalenger player or further.
