Chennai SF: Berdych vs. Wawrinka

Who wins this? I say Berdych in 2. Stan is not in his best form, yet, while Berdych was solid in his previous 3 matches in Chennai.

Grigor Dimitrov | Rafael Nadal | Juan Martin del Potro | Andy Murray

Re: Chennai SF: Berdych vs. Wawrinka

I think Berdych will take this. He has been playing solid so far, and Wawrinka will not be able to out-hit him off the backhand in the same way that he has been doing with some of his other opponents. Plus, the Swiss #2 has had a few shaky moments himself.

Fantastic match up. I can't wait. Tomas will take it but I expect Wawa to battle hard, grabbing 1 set in the process. Match of the tournament that's for sure

If Berdych plays well and doesn't have a meltdown he should win handily in straight sets

the problem with that is that it's true for all berdych matches but the crucial word is "if"

Not like he's facing a mental giant this time around, might have it handed to him without him doing much too

Perhaps that's true but that's not the point

The point I was trying to make is that for what he said, he might as well have not said it since we knew that all along

Tomas.

Juan Martin Del Potro

But he lost 23 times against you.
's right. We have to also throw into the mix. But I do not think it is currently the decisive factor. But he has achieved in my opinion too much. Maybe this is crucial if I move him even closer after major victories. But 14 or 17 Grand Slam titles is a significant difference. At the present time there is no question that he must be the greater player than me.
