The most important thing is the win Stan recorded. I didn't watch the match, so I can't talk about it, but Haase is a very good player and I expected Wawrinka to have some difficulties. He will play Berdych now.

But he lost 23 times against you.
's right. We have to also throw into the mix. But I do not think it is currently the decisive factor. But he has achieved in my opinion too much. Maybe this is crucial if I move him even closer after major victories. But 14 or 17 Grand Slam titles is a significant difference. At the present time there is no question that he must be the greater player than me.
Stan should have won the third set more convincingly. He caught an unlucky net cord when he had break point on Haase's service game when he could have gone 4-0 up and he missed at least a couple of match points at 5-2 as well.
Sadly for Haase, he couldn't match Wawrinka physically by the end of the match. I like his game though...anyone else think he can reach the top 50 at some point this year? His career high ranking to date is 56 and as of the start of 2011 he is only 9 places adrift of this.
