At the end of the second, you are right. But not at the end of the first - Davdenko breaks at 5-4 with 4 forehand winners, Nieminen could'nt do much.
Yes, 100% agree. Kolya played a brilliant game to break at the end of the 1st set. There was practically nothing Nieminen could have done, apart from borrow Isner or Karlovic to bang some meatier 1st serves in.
For the most part it was a very nice quality match...some breathtaking hitting, and winners, by both men.
