Doha R1: Schoorel vs. Federer

I was asking myself, do we need such a thread. I've never heard for Thomas Schoorel, but I saw he is #168 in the rankings, he is left-handed and he is still young(21-year old). Last year he had reached 2 Challenger finals and some more QFs.

Federer wins 6-3 6-1

Nice opportunity for Schoorel.
He had a very decent 2010, coming out of nowhere.

17 (yes, yes, yes!) Slams! And counting....

A Schoorel? Fed will feed him some nuts.

Don't think Schoorel has a chance against almighty Fed but he did beat De Bakker in the finals of the Dutch Masters two weeks ago.

Schoorel to be schooled in 2.

The Squirrel has votes of more than 60%. If it stays the same, we'll know why he lost- the MTF curse

Another cakewalk draw for Federer.
I see Chiudinelli will be bending over for him in R2 aswell, unless GOAT El Amrani gets through.

Juan Martin Del Potro

David Ferrer - Tommy Haas - Jo-Wilfried Tsonga

Andy Roddick - Juan Carlos Ferrero - Mardy Fish
