Monfils likes it quick too: look at recent form, US Open, Tokyo, Montpellier, and here.

Anyway, the surface is already decided, it's Rukort as used in Zagreb, probably medium/slow (despite being the MF aka medium-fast variant).

Re: Paris R3: Amazing Llodra def. Djokovic 7-6 (6) 6-2

Get it together Nole, he loses one match to Roger, and now this has resulted in his form going downhill fast, he can't even win a M1000 tournament this year, and now there is every chance that Murray can overtake him to finish as year end #3, well at least Nole defended 2 of his titles this year (Dubai, Beijing)

Kind of interesting how he was #2 just 2 months ago, now he is on the verge of becoming #4 if Murray keeps progressing.

He better make a good deep run at WTF and win DC, I won't buy any of his 'tired' excuses, because with this uncharacteristic early exit, he will have more than enough time to rest.

NOLE - RAFA - ROGER - DELPO - MUZZA - TSONGA

Also supporting: Rusty, Pics, Nalby, Nando, Baggy, Kei, Isner, Blake, Kolya, Berdych, Richie, Soderling, Gil

Ana - Wozzy - Vika - Kimmy - Makiri

But on a fast surface this Djokovic would be enough to beat him IMO.

Well i've only been following tennis for about a year, i've been googling Llodra. Can't find anything controversial or disrespectful I like the guy. Probably for the wrong reasons again - antics at wimbledon after winning doubles, dancing at DC, hugging that ball girl, oh and his serve and volley also the fact he beat Djoko today.

Gilles Simon
Dimitrov • Mahut • Paire • Hewitt • Raonic • Berdych • Gulbis • Murray

Thanks for the memories... Andy Roddick.

Sure, can't disagree. Should be pretty much the same on any surface though.

Re: Paris R3: Amazing Llodra def. Djokovic 7-6 (6) 6-2

Excellent Excellent Excellent stuff from Llodra, played amazingly to save a couple of SP in the first set and from then on it was a one way street, exquisite volleys, great court positioning, very good serve

A pleasure to watch

Nole didn't play badly but Llodra totally outplayed him today

Rafael "The Matador of Spin" Nadal
Roger “The Magician of Precision” Federer
Del Potro, Ferrer, Haas, Zeballos

Djokovic is slowly but surely starting to look like his clown compatriots Ivanovic and Jankovic.

No it wasn't and Novak won't 'take it all'. At this rate (if he keeps running out of steam quickly) then even the Davis cup would slip out of his hand.

Don't get your hopes up Llodra is still a mug and yes serve and volley still sucks.
Rubbish.

Bring back this taraflex and similar kinda surface at other tournaments and you'll see more S&V success.

ATP = baseline whore

Good observation.

And I bet when Djoko loses at WTF it would be cuz he'd tanked London for Davis cup
