Paris R1: Stakhovsky vs Marchenko 6-2 6-2

I've expected for tougher match. Again, as in match with Kukushkin, Marchenko was very nervous. It seems Marchenko had sleepless night and has burned out before the match Today Illya's tennis was terrible. So, we have easy win of Sergiy who is also far from his best form

OMG, this win was much-much needed for Illya and the loss creates many problems with his ranking

People on Ukrainian tennis forums, connected to Marchenko's club, say Illya has catched a chill in Paris and today played with temperature

Usually Marchenko looks better on fast indoor courts, but last half year with new coach destroyed his confidence

Court seemed a little quick for Marchenko, couldn't touch the Stak serve, and hard to play his defensive game too.

Anyway, Stakhovsky is always going to beat Marchenko on a fast court, if he's in decent form (seems he's been perpetually unfit/tired for a while now though).
