That's a shame. Really decent guy who made a valiant effort to fight back into the top 100 after being told he would not be able to play tennis at all anymore. His fighting spirit will be missed in the ATP.

Well guys, I announced my retirement from the ATP Tour today..want to thank all of you for your support over all those years. I had the privilege to compete at the highest level for 12 year, see places in the world I would have never been able to see without tennis, and meet people along the way that have become lifelong friends.
