Re: Serra toys with Monty,Wins after saving two mps 46 61 76

Start of 2nd set...

Montanes 4 bps, misses em all, Serra holds. Given Serra's mentality, these were virtual mps. 0-1
Montanes doublefaults on bp. 0-2
Serra holds to love. 0-3
Montanes broken again. 0-4
Serra holds to 15. 0-5

3rd set was a serving contest, first bps were double mp for Montanes, missed em both, then in tiebreak went straight to 1-6.

Montanes 2/13bps. Mental strength already on holiday, I guess.

Mentally, Monty isnt as good off clay. Not bad still though. 1st ever match lost after MP. Now like 12-1.

Not sure that's true recently, he was ultra clutch vs Llodra in Montpellier for example - courts there a lot quicker and harder for his game too. Also beat davy from a set down, won next two tiebreaks, and gave soderling a bit of a fright in New York also.

I thought tennis guru Typhoon said it was impossible for Albert to ever choke, so you must be wrong about this, Voo.

Re: Serra toys with Monty,Wins after saving two mps 46 61 76

I know only one ATP match in which Montanes was two points away and lost, it was in Barcelona 2005 when he was serving at 5:4 (30-15) against Ferrero but lost 3-6 6-3 5-7.

Davy is not a reference, everybody beats poor old Davy now, even this joke of a player Simon.
