DC Playoff Brazil 1-0: Bellucci def. Bopanna 6-7(2) 7-6(7) 7-5 4-6 10-8

Bopanna had 3 match points and also served for the match at *5-3. Was able to get the break at 9-8 and served it out.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Great fight back from Thomaz. Crucial victory for he and the Brazilian team. Looked down in out in the fifth and also was set points down in the second. By the way the second set tiebreak was 9-7.

Important victory in the career of Thomaz Bellucci, to hopefully give him some much needed confidence in himself and on fast courts.

I'm so glad Bell could come back and win this game.

Wow, that will be a hard loss to take.

I was expecting a tough match and chances for Bopanna, but you can't get any closer to snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Bellucci needs to work a little more on improving his chances off the clay (and obviously to do that he will need to make adjustments to his game). He has done well to build on his breakthrough 2009 season, but I'd like to see a more visible improvement on other surfaces. Certainly he has time on his side, but hopefully he won't be the new Almagro, or a similar player like that.

Bellucci finally won a tight match after losing final set tie-break everywhere this year.

Poor Bopanna lost 10-12 in the fifth set to Verkerk 7 years ago in the playoffs Also 7-9, 6-8 and 4-6 in other 5-setters of the Davis Cup. Ultimate choker this Bopanna.

Bellucci is an embarassment if he takes that much to beat Bopanna.

The 50 aces is pretty good though.

Hey A.J., can you please edit the title to show the full results of the day in this tie? Thanks in advance.

On atptennis.com is written Bellucci saved 2 MP's but it was 3... I've checked it out on daviscup.com in the scoreboard

Well done to the Brazilians, they showed a lot of heart today.
