Question Which tennis matches do you record on DVD?

I record every Rafa GS Final, that's all, never record Semis even if its a great match. I figure I'll end up buying a few of those semis and other matches in 20 years though when Rafa has retired.

Pretty much all GS finals (notable exception being RG 2009 ) On WTA side I used to record some of Henin and Clijsters matches, but I don't anymore.

I'm going to watch the AO 2009 Final in the next couple of days to make a comparison to USO 10 and also to remind myself what AO 11 will look like

Re: Which tennis matches do you record on DVD?

I've been recording all kinds os matches which are interesting to me. Big GS matches or random ATP250 matches featuring one of my gangsters.

However, I record only some parts on matches, for example: ends of sets, tiebreakers, deciding sets, important games, etc.

It's tricky because you just don't know how long will the match last. It's easy to record a football or basketball games, but not this unpredictable sport.

Re: Which tennis matches do you record on DVD?

there were very little tennis coverage when I was watching Pete/goran, only managed to record mostly their matches at wimby and year end championship. As for rafa, i mostly record his matches on clay (as I know that most probably he would win, and i didn't want to record matches that my idols lost

Rafa! Rafa! Rafa!

Epic movies, like brokeback mountain, are seldom found in the industry or worthy for the mainstream viewer. As often as I have watched the clips of this movie, I always find something more to it. For one, the gay stuff doesn't enter the picture for me, only the dimension of the highest love I have ever witnessed in life or on film.

paid someone to convert my old VHS (mostly chang, pete, goran, Monica ..) into dvds, costed me a lot, but I am so bad that i did not watch much after conversion as the qualities are not that good

Safe bet to record Rafa GS Finals. He don't lose them ever (except for the 2006 wimbledon and 2007 wimbledon).

Plus Del Potro vs. Simon, Murray vs. del Potro, and Murray vs. Nadal. It was a classic US Open that year, you're right!

The match that I didn't record which was a top 5 performance of the year - Rafa vs Murray Wimbledon 2010 - but I only record GS Finals.
