U.S. Open Weather Update: Wind + Rain

So I am not in New York. And I can't tell what's happening there exactly. However, here is the weather update for today:

Considerable cloudiness with occasional rain showers. High 69F. Winds ESE at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 90%.

Can anyone update us on how bad things are in NY? It's going to be windy. Is that a good thing for Novak?

I would imagine the cooler and less humid it is, the better it is for Djokovic, for sure. Nadal on the other hand has been running in 40 + degrees weather on clay all his life in Spain..

I hope it's not too windy. I mean that would be a complete disaster for US open.

Bad scheduling - check
Bad commentating - check
Bad weather all week - check
Bad women's final - check
Windy men's final? Disaster.

Rafa lives on an Island called Mallorca I think. Can I actually find it on a map? Nah. But I was never good in geography. I am sure the weather is not too cool there.

It's an island placed in Mediterranean Sea, so the climate is a little bit more cooler than on continent.

Btw. There are winters in Spain, it's not Africa.

Windy and damp conditions favor Nadal. Nole will find it now much harder to boss points, and he's going to have a harder time controlling the ball and not making errors with the heavy winds.

Alright, that makes sense. Spain is not Africa, but some parts of it are quite close..

You need to migrate to Europe more often.

In some places of North-Africa can be cold winters too anyways.

Sure, but those winters can't be compared to Polish or Russian.

If anything, South Africa has the coldest winters in Africa. In fact South African winters are colder than winter in parts of Spain.
