Tennis has no blood passport system, and does basically no out of competition testing.

The methods and drugs used by Armstrong in 1999 would work in tennis right now, with zero chance of being caught (not slightly surprising to anyone familiar with the topic, btw).

Nadal when he was 17-18.

Football is one of the few areas of life where even if you're untutored, you can go to a ground and see George Best beat three men, and you can realise, 'I have seen genius.'

Why isn't Murray on the list?

Federer, Youzhny and Murray have the best slice.

ANDY MURRAY

SLAMS: 2 WINS, 7 finals, 9 semi-finals, 7 quarter-finals...
MASTERS: 12 WINS, 5 finals, 13 semi-finals, 18 quarter-finals...
WTF: 3 semi-finals...
OTHER: Olympic gold and silver medals, Davis Cup champion...
MATCH WIN/LOSS: 574-167...
TITLES: 36 and counting...

Nadal of course. He wins most of points thanks to his low bounced slice. It's effective especially on hardcourts.

No, his slice isn't even near the top 100.

Re: Best BH slice on tour ?

Federer's, and it's not even close. He can knife it, float it, land it short, land it deep, go cross court or down the line with it. A couple of seasons ago, Federer's slice probably had slightly more bite than it does now as well.

Re: Best BH slice on tour ?

Currently Federer's slice is weaker that it was in prime time. Nowadays lots of players can attack and hit a winner after defensive slice of Fed's. But with no doubt's it was the best slice in 2004-2007.

Re: Best BH slice on tour ?

Nadal's slice as a defensive shot is underrented. He just gets unbelievable depth on it all the time these days. It's not the liability it used to be on hardcourts.
