Peter Lundgren and the rest of Wawrinka's box?

What's up with Lundgren and Wawrinka's box getting up on their feet and screaming every time Wawrinka wins a good point, or an important game? I don't remember Lundgren doing this when he coached Federer or Safin

Obviously he's just trying to keep Wawrinka pumped up during a match, but is this really necessary? He even has the typically quiet Wawrinka yelling a lot now too It has to be quite annoying for Wawrinka's opponents

Probably something he has adressed, for Stan to get more involved, showing emotions and giving himself credit. So far so good..

Yes I noticed that the other day against Querrey at the end of the match - looked like they were celebrating victory in the final

Re: Peter Lundgren and the rest of Wawrinka's box?

It's kinda fun actually.

Tsonga - Wawrinka - Del Potro - Gasquet - F.Lopez - Monfils - Haas - Janowicz - Youzhny - Tomic - Hewitt - Gulbis - Mahut - Haase - Schoorel - Sijsling - Huta Galung - De Bakker - Van der Duim - Westerhof - Middelkoop - Koolhof - Lootsma - S&T. Griekspoor - Sels - Van Rijthoven

All time: Safin - Schalken - Krajicek - Sluiter - Verkerk - Henman - Ivanisevic - Nalbandian - Ferrero - Philippoussis - Sampras - Siemerink - Blake - F.Gonzalez - Ancic - Haarhuis/Eltingh

Still supporting all the Dutchies despite their great choking skills
Looking forward to the Dutch Futures and Challengers this summer!

Re: Peter Lundgren and the rest of Wawrinka's box?

None of the guys in that box look like they know anything about tennis. Kind of annoying that the camera was on them so much.

There are times, rare moments, when the greatest of champions fall. Maybe because of a bad day or maybe there's pain within. One thing you can be sure of, is that all the great champions will bounce back again. It may not be today. It may not be tomorrow. But one day, they'll be back again. And they'll be better than ever. Why??? Because that's what great champions do. They survive.
