Awesome match point. Love 5th set tiebreakers.

David let himself down; verdasco may have changed his career...again. We'll see.

Power in my time.

Nando

Match of the tournament for me (and what a way to finish ), and one of the best I've ever seen at the Us Open. Second set tie-break was exciting, I think both there produced their best tennis. Nando looked devastated after first two tight sets and began the fifth set with two double faults and missed 5th straight serve. It looked like 3-0 for Pics but at the beginning of the fourth I thought that Nando had 70/30 to win that match because Pics was moving in the first two sets on the baseline like something on an assembly line I thought he wouldn't have too much in the tank. And suddenly led 4:2 (30-15) in the fifth. Nando was amazingly self-confident then. The last stages of the match were unbelievable. Pics hit the line with his forehand at 5:6 (15-30) then Nando hit the line with the backhand at 1:4 in the tie-break and those lines changed the momentum.

Amazing how quickly the things can change. Two years ago Pics was known as an amazing fighter, 5-set specialist, Nando as a part-time choker. And after this match, Pics is 13-8 and Nando 13-8 too in five-setters!!

shouldn't the last set be played in long game, not tie-breakers?

Rafa! Rafa! Rafa!

Epic movies, like brokeback mountain, are seldom found in the industry or worthy for the mainstream viewer. As often as I have watched the clips of this movie, I always find something more to it. For one, the gay stuff doesn't enter the picture for me, only the dimension of the highest love I have ever witnessed in life or on film.

5th set tiebreaker cheapened this match and Ferrer will be so pissed off leading a break and losing this.

Now Nando can do his Gumby impression for Nadal.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Fucking epic!

I can't believe he won.. More so, I can't believe I stopped watching after he lost his first set 5-7. Oh well, had to get some sleep.

BTW: he looks like a Norwegian troll in that pic with his hair like that! LMAO
