3 Cheers for Canadian tennis!

So nice to see Polansky, Raonic and Dancevic one win away from qualifying into the main draw! Would be wonderful to see some more Canadian success on the tennis courts. On the womens side 4/5 are into the final round of qualifying too! Probably the best qualifying tourney EVER for Canadians!

Nice to see small tennis countries do that well. I can completely understand that feeling of proudness, like i am when portuguese players make historic results.

Good luck to the cannadians!

Re: 3 Cheers for Canadian tennis!

blitzkrieg?

It could kind of been expected it since the candians do tend to get the good results on north american soil.

peter and milos had good draws but they took advantage and played well and good for them, they werent doing that in events even earlier this year.

one im most suprised about is tetreault who was barely even winning games in matches before and i didnt know how she would be after that embarrassment against bartoli a week ago.

I didn't want to support a thread like this so soon, I'm afraid of jinxing them. It's not over yet. They still have to win one more match to qualify for the MD, I really hope they win though!

poor Dancevic, got destroyed by Nishikori (good for Nishikori though, he deserves to achieve some victories)

Re: 3 Cheers for Canadian tennis!

Looked like this had the potential to be a jinx thread, but it worked out well for Peter and Milos, congrats to both on making the MD 2 out of 3 ain't bad.
