New Haven R2: Robredo def. Dent 5-7 6-4 6-4

A bit of a surprising result for me, but a much needed victory for Tommy, he's defending quite a lot at the US Open, his top 50 spot may be in jeopardy. Wins for him have been hard to come by, especially on non-clay surfaces, so a win against a player like this who usually is a major thorn in his side is a step forward.

As for Taylor, too bad he didn't get the win, but he's been playing well. Good luck next week in New York.

I thought Taylor would win too considering Robredo has been crap all year.

I was at the match with some friends, we were cheering for Tommy really loudly after he lost the first set. There were a couple close calls and at one point, Dent sat down and refused to continue, probably would've gotten defaulted until people yelled at him to get up and just play

Good win for Tommy

Dent beat Boredo comfortably last year in Miami or IW, and now on a much faster HC and with Boredo being in shit form he loses...

Tennis has no blood passport system, and does basically no out of competition testing.

The methods and drugs used by Armstrong in 1999 would work in tennis right now, with zero chance of being caught (not slightly surprising to anyone familiar with the topic, btw).

Re: New Haven R2: Robredo def. Dent 5-7 6-4 6-4

Nice to see Robredo doing well and is on his way back. He's not actually a bad player. He's just been a bit unlucky with many injury breaks and being out of the game for so long.

Like I said though, he seems to be getting back in form, so that's good
