New Haven R2: Lacko def. Bellucci 6-4 6-7(4) 6-0

Thomaz failed to show up in the deciding set after winning the second. Still not quite there yet on hard courts to be a true top 10-15 player like his potential suggests.

Good win for Lukas, he needs them.

Bellucci, what happened in the 3rd set?! oh well, would have been interesting to watch.

This is sort of expect from small tournaments just before a grand slam.

what do you all think?

Bellucci lost to Leonardo Mayer (!) in 2 sets 4-6, 1-6 in Nice... (First match). Then in Roland Garros he played fourth round...

Never ever give up

Thomaz hopefully this is not an indication of how he'll play at the USO

are you suggesting that he *might* do better in the US Open, you know, getting in the 3rd or 4th round?

but yeah maybe he plays differently, tries different things, in the smaller tournaments.

I don't think. Thomaz can play in third round maximum.
He might probably play better as smaller tournament, but this court so fast for Bellucci. I hope he will win two match...

Never ever give up

Let's just hope Bellucci gets buried in the first round at the USO. The world will be a much better place.
