Re: New Haven R1: Hajek def Brown 75 63

He did well to qualify. Let's be honest, he had a nice run last last year and early this year, got some hype, showed his talent, his unfortunate and heartwarming story was told and brought him a lot of fans and well-wishers, and a bit of a bandwagon. And I wish him nothing but the best due to everything he has been through. But he's not a top 100 player. He's overhyped in relation to his tennis ability and results. He got a few points, so we'll see how he does at the US Open. If he can finish year end top 125, that will be a job well done.

Good win for Jan on hard courts, congrats to him. Saved a lot of break points early in the first set and from there on he controlled the match.

Brown is only good on challenger hc/indoor circuit but it was harsh at the end losing with Stoppini f. e.

Winning games in challengers and plus Brown is only good @ #250 ATP Tours and on really crappy draws like New Heaven, Johanes or New Port in games which players who don't wanna win games.

Tennis wins either way in this match.

The OP has no clue.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Machado wins 6-2 6-1
