Cincy 3R: Fish def. Gasquet 7-5 6-2

7-6, 7-5, 7-6, 7-6, 7-5 - impressive run of Fish's winning sets but 6 years ago on American hardcourts he lost 4 straight sets in tie-breaks... He's enjoyable to watch right now, serves well, moves quickly and apparently enjoys every minute on the court IMO will be a favorite in the quarters no matter who his opponent would be.

Awesome job Fishie!!!!!

18 aces, 2 df!

Love seeing Mardy playing like this, he will indeed give Gulbis/Murray troubles in the QF!

He should be seeded for the US Open now, correct??

Great stuff by Mardy, served superbly, was full of positive energy and played very well with lots of variety. A joy to watch indeed

Mardy's 2010 is just excelent.
He is rockin so hard.

I actually think Bernard Tomic will easily win career-year mixed doubles slam in 2020.

Jealous? Yeah, you are, you dirty hater.

Fishy eating his Wheaties and not much else. Keep swimming, Mardy.

Congrats to Andy Roddick, 2017 Hall of Fame!

Good to see Fishy keeping up the momentum from July. Confidence is everything.

Pathetic display from Gasquet after 5-5. Fish served great.

I think that he'll beat the winner of the Murry/Gulbis match.

Good job, Fishy.

When he's on, he's unbreakable. No wonder he hung out with Roddick earlier in his career.

Re: Cincy 3R: Fish def. Gasquet 7-5 6-2

there was nothing to do, Fish was just plain better. He has won 14 of last 15 matchs. 18 aces 95% on first serve. he is playing top 10 level right now. He can go far, he is a former finalist here and he has already beaten Murray twice, Roddick and Isner.
now, Ritchie can only count on luck for his USO draw.

Mardy beats the "shitty French man".

Avenges the 2008 defeat where he threatened to "beat his fucking ass" then lost.
