Cincy R2: Berdych def. Mathieu 6-4 6-4

I was watching this match but got bored with the slaughter, it should have been a breadstick in the second IMO

Rafael "The Matador of Spin" Nadal
Roger “The Magician of Precision” Federer
Del Potro, Ferrer, Haas, Zeballos

This new Berdych reminds me of Del Potro, ie: incredibly dull.

I love all aspects of TENNIS.

Federer - The Artist
Murray - The Tactician
Nalbandian - The Ballstriker
Llodra - The S/V

PHM was swinging from his heels at the end, good to see a little fight back. Not the most exciting match otherwise

The commentators on Sky Sports (Nick Lester and Peter Fleming) were talking about random crap during this match.

Mathieu is a better player:better technique, flawless shots and looking more natural while setting up etc..Berdych is only a more patient one.Enough to win it tough.

Someone needs to bring it like Del Potro did, and Berdych has a better chance than Soderling.

There's no doubt he's had the talent...but his forehand has way too big of a backswing to be timed well all the time on fast surfaces

Classic PHM with having trouble getting into any consistent rythm.
22 winners and 27 UEs.
First serve 45%

From 2-5 to 4-5 in the second he played like a tennis god - Agassi like returns, breaking Tomaš almost to love (for the first time), blasting groundstrokes and an amazing topspin lob for good measure.

If he played like that the whole time he would own the ATP including freaking Fedal. Well, try to play games like that more often and we will be back in top 50 in no time.
