Terrible match, Thiemo was awful. But good that he got the win, now beat Roddick.

Horrible match, but Thiemo won. Need to do much better, otherwise he will get crushed with 6/3 6/3

epic choker this debakker, although I like his style, I think he needs more experience in order to not having trouble in closing matches, like he had today on 2°set tb and 3°set

good for him and good for monaco, returning after months, he showed some good tennis

Monaco can't put away balls. Almost as bad as Roddick.

Good win but I just can't see Bakker winning something big

important win for thiemo, but the match was terrible to watch..so many unforced errors

i think roddick(if he wins) will be to much for de bakker

Pico's first match since his 1R loss at RG...was never going to be pretty.

Monaco did well to hang out there after such a long break, but it was mostly because de Bakker played awfully.

Nice win for Thiemo but he needs to be able to build on his wins. I know that Roddick is not in the best shape but I can't see him getting past the American.

Good to see Pico back from injury, as everyone has said it was not a great match. Pico looked weak and rusty and lacked spark on his shots, but fought hard. Thiemo made tons of errors in winning positions, but ultimately had too much game for Pico. If Monaco had been playing and not off for months I think he would have won this match. Congrats to Thiemo but Andy should beat him again in R2.
