Re: WWW Toronto SF: R. Federer vs. N. Djokovic

Federer playing shaky tennis and Djokovic seems to be very solid but I think Roger should be able to pull this one out. Djokovic is a good match-up for Federer. He is obviously a great ball striker, but he doesn't have the pace of Del Potro/Soderling/Berdych/etc so he ends up allowing Roger to get in a pretty good rhythm whenever they play.

Federer / Haas / Safin / Gaudio / Kuerten / Youzhny / Nadal / Gonzalez / Ljubicic / Hewitt / Soderling / Wawrinka / Coria / Nalbandian / Kohlschreiber

Re: WWW Toronto SF: R. Federer vs. N. Djokovic

the final will be federer vs murray.
book it.

seems like the trio of federer, murray and djokovic are stepping up to challenge rafa's recent dominance.
all 3 are playing some quality ball.
all 3 look pretty confident.
whereas rafa seems to be resting on his laurels.

rafa is in trouble big time during the US open series.
no way he can beat federer, murray or djokovic on hardcourt when they play their best.
rafa's best on hardcourt is far inferior to the best of the trio on hardcourts.

I think Roger can take this in three, but it can go either way

Rafael "The Matador of Spin" Nadal
Roger “The Magician of Precision” Federer
Del Potro, Ferrer, Haas, Zeballos

Re: Toronto SF WWW: Federer vs. Djokovic

Novak seems to be in better form but that's only because Chardy was so bad All those 0-30 games Novak held won't be so easy against Roger, and Novak is not nearly as big a hitter or server as Berdych. Roger in 2.

Well if Novak cannot win this he should just retire. Cotton candy is going down in three, but Brands is the real winner.

Re: Toronto SF WWW: Federer vs. Djokovic

This will be a good match to watch. Djokovic hasn't won a top 10 player for a while, so I really hope that he can beat Federer tomorrow so that he can get his confidence back. He needs to believe that he can win Federer, and not give up hope if he is a set down.

If Nadal wins against Murray Federer won't even bother showing up for the 2nd semi final.

Re: Toronto SF WWW: Federer vs. Djokovic

Finally, Djokovic plays a top 5 player this year, how long has it been? Probably since the Basel final against Roger last year (9 months...)

I'll go with Djokovic in 3.

NOLE - RAFA - ROGER - DELPO - MUZZA - TSONGA

Also supporting: Rusty, Pics, Nalby, Nando, Baggy, Kei, Isner, Blake, Kolya, Berdych, Richie, Soderling, Gil

Ana - Wozzy - Vika - Kimmy - Makiri
