Here's a suggestion about the name of the thread - What in the world can stop Nalbi getting back in top 10?

Is the sky blue, is the water wet...

If he continues like this, he'll be there in no time.

Yes, if he stays healthy. Thats a big if though.

I love all aspects of TENNIS.

Federer - The Artist
Murray - The Tactician
Nalbandian - The Ballstriker
Llodra - The S/V

Re: Will Nalbandian get top 10 again?

He's a top 5 player at least when performing at his best and fully healthy and motivated, but there are a lot of factors and people are jumping the gun a bit. It takes a lot to be a top 10 player, and whether David can do that is still questionable.

Re: Will Nalbandian get top 10 again?

He's previously lacked consistency throughout a season. He'll show flashes of brilliance but then bomb out in the first rounds of majors. That's where the big ranking points lie and I continue to be sceptical about his chances to win one until he does. Having said that, I feel that this year there is a renewed passion and determination. Hope he does enter the top 10 and gets that elusive slam (and also get his hands on that DC trophy of course ). I currently feel it's a matter of "when" he enters the top 10 and not "if" provided he remains non-injured. There's no doubt that he already and historically possessed the qualities of a top 5 player and more.

I hope so. Nobody deserves it more than Nalby, the way he's been playing lately. Hopefully that will happen, but he still needs to improve his game first.
