Toronto R2: Djokovic collapses by Benneteau 7-5 7-5

Biggest mugfest I've seen in a while.

The frenchman is a disgrace, can't even win against a Djokovic in this shape.
Nole hardly even looked concious. He'll lose against Hanescu.

Thank goodness, he at least won this in two sets.

Nole couldn't serve for his life and couldn't breath. Still he won in str8s , Benny

Epic WTAish mugfest.

Total Nolecoaster as usual but he so often finds a way to win these matches when he's not playing well and physically struggling.

Re: Toronto R2: Djokovic collapses by Benneteau 7-5 7-5

I didn't watch the match except the last few games but the stats for Djokovic seemed pretty good except the bps converted(6/18). W/UFE was 43 to 32. First serve was around 66%. 2nd serve points won was a bit low I thought. So it's surprising to see people thought he didn't play well. The commentators thought he played pretty well.

Nole is done. For his career. At best he has a few masters wins in him in the future in the right environmental conditions and the right draw.

Djokovic fitness is usually much better than he appears.

He gives the impression of physical exhaustion, but keeps going through the match.

If you had seen the match you would understand. And the commentators are full of shit, they always are. Not once do they admit that a player who won actually played badly.
