Carlos moya

Has he retired yet? what's the deal?

Juan Martin Del Potro

But he lost 23 times against you.
's right. We have to also throw into the mix. But I do not think it is currently the decisive factor. But he has achieved in my opinion too much. Maybe this is crucial if I move him even closer after major victories. But 14 or 17 Grand Slam titles is a significant difference. At the present time there is no question that he must be the greater player than me.

Re: Carlos moya

If I`m not wrong he is comitted to play an exhibition at the end of the year in Buenos Aires but they are mentioning that the guy is already retired. But it is not official so I guess we will hear some news about it quite soon.

Moya needs a miracle to get back into top 50. Very classy champion, had a terrific career. Always admired the class and sportsmanship of Moya who was the personification of a true champion and world #1.

Re: Carlos moya

i hope moya's final match of his career is with rafa in madrid.
would be a perfect ending.
rafa has said many times moya was his idol growing up and also a mentor and like a big brother to rafa.

moya is going to be a daddy soon, he has an absolutely gorgeous girlfriend.

Re: Carlos moya

Of course it is inevitable, but it's still so sad to know that Moya's career is all but over. He's been my favourite player since the beginning of 1997 (Australian Open) and I've followed his progress in just about every tournament since early this century. He had a tremendous career but I just wish he could have made another Slam semi-final after the US Open in 1998 (went 0-5 in Slam quarter-finals after that).
