Re: Toronto draw

Nadal is lucky that Berdych and Davydenko is in the other half of the draw. He still has to face Murray though.

Also, I really hope Wawrinka does well here. I believe he has a shot at winning the first match against Dancevic.

DELPO

Also supporting known chokers Verdasco, Lopez and Monaco

They let him play tennis once after they saw his "consistency is everything" advertisement.

Maybe 4 or 5 if he wants to get more of a workout in.

Re: Toronto draw

Weird not to see Federer on the top or the bottom of the draw Good draw for Cilic to finally win some tie-break

Nalbandian-Ferrer and Hanescu-Raonic, those are the matches I'm looking forward to see.

Re: Toronto draw

Hopefully nalby isn't too tired.

Juan Martin Del Potro

But he lost 23 times against you.
's right. We have to also throw into the mix. But I do not think it is currently the decisive factor. But he has achieved in my opinion too much. Maybe this is crucial if I move him even closer after major victories. But 14 or 17 Grand Slam titles is a significant difference. At the present time there is no question that he must be the greater player than me.

David Nalbandian

Re: Toronto draw

pretty tough draw for Rafa..

R1 - bye
R2 - Wawrinka
R3 - Sam Querry
QF - Cilic / Roddick
SF - Murray / SOderling
F - Berdych/ Fed / Djokovich

thats quite a handful for a hard court tournamnet for rafa.

Fed has a much easier draw...

Go Roger & RAFA

ROGER = GOAT*

*Assumes Rafael Nadal was never born

Re: Toronto draw

Federer has had many easy draws this year; even in Wimby he said Nadal's draw looked hard compare to his.... though success was missing those past 8 monts.

Re: Toronto draw

Berdych-Gasquet second round could be good.

The second quarter is NUTS: Murray, Malisse, Gonzalez, Monfils, Ferrer, Nalbandian, Robredo, Gulbis, and Soderling. It's seriously ANYBODY'S quarter.

every hardcourt draw for rafa is tough, he is not a good hardcourt player.

Re: Toronto draw

Well, saying a player has a hard draw is sort of flawed, since it's highly unlikely they'll play all the seeded players. There's a lot of upsets in tennis.

Very top-heavy draw. Lots of fun potential match-ups...should be fun!

Re: Toronto draw

Would love to see Davydenko find some form. Really hard to say who's got the tough draw since the HC season is essentially just starting for a lot of folks. Hopefully Federer has improved from his "injuries" as well and can make a run here.
