Re: Federer: Best ever

YES, he already is the best ever. Only Rod Laver fans could argue against this, even if I haven't seen Rod Laver play I know the time he played was much less competitive than today. Anyway, Fed will HAVE TO win a grand slam to definetly be called the best ever...

Re: Federer: Best ever

Because he has the most complete game it doesn't mean he'll produce results comparable to those who have preceeded him. Truly, Roger has the potential, but that doesn't mean it will ever happen.

Re: Federer: Best ever

If he stays healthy and dedicated, 10 GS is a realistic goal for him, I think.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Federer is great, but look at point #2: He's only 23 - let's judge him after.

And btw, didn't a guy named Sampras just retired? You know, the guy who owns 10 more grand slams than Federer?

How many slams did Sampras have at 23?

Re: Federer: Best ever

He had 5 slams after USO-94( he was exactly the same age as Roger because both were born in August).

Yami Marick - are you also Love on this board? Because the both of you match each other in terms of being retarded and dumb.

Pete Sampras - no yelling, no bad language, no fooling around, no showmanship, no media obsession, no nonsense. He just let his tennis do the talking. Enough said.

Re: Federer: Best ever

Roger needs either AO or RG 2005 to be on a par with Pete.

AO to be on par yes, but if he gets RG 2005 he would be clearly over Sampras!

Good luck to: King Roger, Marat, Andre, Guga, Tim

Queen Justine, Daniela, Elena, Jelena, Tatiana, Babsi, Manu and Timea!

Re: Federer: Best ever

Wait to the end of his career before anyone can say with any conviction that he is the greatest ever, he has a special talent and had a wonderful year, but he is not the best ever, yet.
