There was a Wozniacki exo, though she flew in from the States to play it.

I don't like them! More cities and nations could have a masters with fewer joint events.

But the Davis Cup should be mixed!

^Davis Cup mixed? Haha. What about Fed Cup, or do you want those to combine?

Love joint events.
Just look how desperately Wozniacki misses these events that even has to come to Monte-Carlo.

Exactly how would separating men's and women's events increase the number of ATP 1000 tournaments?

For such needs there is already a tournament called Hopman Cup.

It would increase the number of cities hosting masters or premiers, obviously.

Re: Joint ATP And WTA Events - Your Views.

No joint events please. Biggest torture for a proper tennis fan is waiting a WTA match to finish (3 hours and a half with 16 breaks of serve). That's only acceptable if Fed is the one waiting.

Re: Joint ATP And WTA Events - Your Views.

For me, the joint events give me a chance while the ladies are on, to take a bathroom break/make a cup of coffee/pull a few weeds from the garden/do a bit of ironing or other housework. But somehow I would much rather watch (men's) tennis than do any of those things. . .

Re: Joint ATP And WTA Events - Your Views.

The issue with the WTA is that there aren't any hot babes at the top. On the whole tour there's like a handful of decent/good looking ones but other than that, it's as sterile as the Arizona desert.

Of course, pedophiles and feminists will take whatever, which explains this whole Joint events thing, but still, we're talking about an aching matter here.

Agreed. Mandy Minella needs to get to the top ASAP, she's smoking.. Also heard Woz got offered to do playboy but naturally she turned it down.. she's got the image of the girl next door and they need to keep it that way. No doubt the party girl Radwanska would do it though..

The youngest player in the WTA Top-100 is 18 years and 11 months old. See, nowadays not even paedophiles should be particularly interested in the women's tennis.
