Re: Wimbledon R.3: PHM d. De Bakker 7-6 7-6 6-7 6-4

Poor stuff Thiemo. Couldn't do anything on PHM's serve. Lucky third set win.

Tsonga - Wawrinka - Del Potro - Gasquet - F.Lopez - Monfils - Haas - Janowicz - Youzhny - Tomic - Hewitt - Gulbis - Mahut - Haase - Schoorel - Sijsling - Huta Galung - De Bakker - Van der Duim - Westerhof - Middelkoop - Koolhof - Lootsma - S&T. Griekspoor - Sels - Van Rijthoven

All time: Safin - Schalken - Krajicek - Sluiter - Verkerk - Henman - Ivanisevic - Nalbandian - Ferrero - Philippoussis - Sampras - Siemerink - Blake - F.Gonzalez - Ancic - Haarhuis/Eltingh

Still supporting all the Dutchies despite their great choking skills
Looking forward to the Dutch Futures and Challengers this summer!

I thought it was all over for PHM for the last two years. Good to see him having a nice run here.

Pity that Thiemo couldn`t make it. I expected him to reach 1/8. Congratulations for Paul Henri though.

PHM was great, especially mentally.

De Bakker's serve was great, the rest of his game was garbage. Movement and especially returns woeful, unambitious rallying etc

So glad that PHM is undergoing a bit of a resurgence this Wimbledon To be honest I was not totally confident in him backing up the Youzhny win against a player who's been doing well and climbing the rankings of late... Taking him off my avatar probably helped as it seems to be more curse than blessing to whoever ends up there, even though Querrey is currently bucking the trend

Is PHM in good form? Looks like a tough, close match (and I didn't see it) so it's hard to tell. I fear for Nadal facing a Mathieu who's playing well (and who has his crazy head under control).

I love tennis because of...

Andre Agassi (always #1)---Novak Djokovic ---Rafa Nadal---
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga---Gilles Simon---Tomas Berdych---David Nalbandian---Nico Almagro

Thiemo should be able to take out PHM on grass, really. Disappointing score.
