Wimbledon R1: Benneteau def, Vliegen 2-6 6-7(6) 6-1 6-2 7-5

Vliegen was up 5-2 in the 5th and Benneteau came back and won 5 games in a row and I don't think there were any match points in this one.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Machado wins 6-2 6-1

Should have lost in straights, Vliegen, saved yourself 3 hours or so - can't win from 2 sets up, break up in the fifth...dear oh dear...

2 sets up, Vliegen's internal voices: "Help! I might win!". Only takes 3 games in next two sets.

Wakes up, double mp... "Help! I might win!". Loses almost every remaining point, 4 games in a row and the match.

Allez Benny! Only saw the 5th set but to Benneteau for not giving up. Vliegen was firing forehands like crazy and Benny played a few smart points and just kept hanging in until Vliegen bashed/choked his way to defeat.

Kristof is probably the biggest choker no-one here talks about. Not surprised in the slightest he choked here vs. someone who is competitive and generally solid like Julien.

Benneteau's results haven't been too great of late, maybe this is the start of something better for him.
