Still some way away from the Carlsen record of 30 (I think) 1st round losses at slams. Not consecutively, though.

At this point of the situation, the question really is how much longer can Oscar hold on before retirement basically becomes an inevitability. If he loses early at Braunschweig his ranking is going to be in the toilet. I can't believe how far he's collapsed this season.
