The "others" at Wimbledon.

These are the results of the guys who likely wouldn't get their own personal thread, but none the less are also here playing at Wimbledon, and deserve a mention.

Lu def. Zeballos 7-5 6-4 6-3.

Brands def. Andreev 7-6 7-6 7-5 (good to see Igor back, too bad he didn't beat Daniel, who is probably the player I dislike the most)

Lopez def. Levine 7-6(2) 3-6 6-2 6-3

Good win for Feli, who is always dangerous on grass. Jesse is going to lose tons of points.

Re: The "others" at Wimbledon.

Bozoljac def. Massu 7-6(3) 3-6 6-3 7-6(7).

Nico had a break lead with 0-30 to get a two break lead in the second set, and blew it. He also had a 6-3 lead in the tiebreak.

Oh well, never expected him to win, but since he had the chances, he should have taken them

I've posted 4 results and only one of them have their own thread, and that was 10 minutes after the result.

These are the forgotten players and matches that people don't think of but players that deserve mentions as major tournaments aren't just played by Rafa, Roger, Nole, Murray and A-Rod.

Good to see Lu break his 6 match losing streak in Grand Slams. Brands wins his first ever Grand Slam match in his fifth attempt.

Troicki def. Kunitsyn 6-3 6-4 6-1. Too bad, I wanted Igor to win. I'm not too fond of Viktor. Congrats to him, though.

Montanes def. Lorenzi 6-3 7-6(5) 6-2.

More suited to the surface I guess. He was starting to find his grass feet last year a little.

Andreev's price collapsed from evens to 1.3ish just before the match. Even though these two are both fixers, it's probably just the ankle from Madrid in this case - he withdrew from Eastbourne for that reason.

Beck def. Ventura 6-3 6-1 4-6 6-2.

Congrats to Karol, I thought Santi would put forth a more competitive match though. Karol is a very underrated player on grass, and faster surfaces in general.

Yeah, I'm surprised Igor even played here, really. He never should have been even with Brands to begin with on grass.

Lu has a chance to make the 3R at least here. I've always liked his game, definitely has a game that should play well on grass.
