Wimbledon Clueless Show Court Choices - Day 1

The schedule has been posted...

Davydenko on court 1 ??

Fish-Tomic or hewitt would have been much better choices ...

And Henin on an outside court?? Pretty insulting don't you think?

Anyway, some interesting matches on the outside courts if anyone's thinking of getting a ground pass for the day. Is Court 2 all reserved seats now?

Davydenko from before last year was often put on outside courts at wimbledon, however with his win at the WTF at the o2 he is now really well known in GB. Noone will really know who Fish or Tomic are, however Hewitt is quite popular still just not as he once was. If he gets through which he will he will be put on court 1 probably.

Regarding Henin, they can only put a certain amount of people on the 3 show courts. Its not as if Court 12 hasnt got seating or anything, and I think its televised. Putting her on court 11 or something would be ridiculous, but 12 isnt too bad.

Anyone who follows tennis should know everyone in the draw...it's really not that tough. Fish and Tomic...even for casual fans...Fish has been on TV and in finals of masters tournaments plenty of times. Tomic was on plenty during the AO.

The thing is though, I am sure tennis fans and players know who fish is. Not so much tomic, but its wimbledon and not many people in the uk who will be attending will know that many players at all apart from the top 8 or so. Regardless, more people on court 1 will want to see Davydenko who they will know from winning at the o2 than Fish for getting to a MS series final in indian wells 2 years ago.

Court 5 as it now I would think as it was before, court 12, court 18.

Not sure since they demolished courts 3 and 4.

Re: Wimbledon Clueless Show Court Choices - Day 1

Start to play two hours earlier and add a match on centre and court1, problem solved. Won't happen though, tradition speaks.

Re: Wimbledon Clueless Show Court Choices - Day 1

I think the three outside courts that have coverage will change from day to day, which kind of sucks for keeping track what will be viewable when the OOP is released.
