Den Bosch R1: Kontinen def. Brown 7-5 2-6 7-6(5)

First ATP main draw win for Henkka . Awesome.

Saved 2/2 break points in the final set. Minibreak down in the deciding tiebreak.

If Jarkko wins, we will have a historical occasion where 2 Finns play each other in an ATP-level tournament.

Only Del Potro can take him out before the semis, and he won't. Nadal is winning the AO, bet your house on it.

Big win for Henkka after the ankle injury Would be fantastic if he played against Jarkko in the 2nd round now

Yeah, he's been injured quite often, hope he doesn't develop a "habit".

Lucky win. If he doesn't win another match, it wasn't a good decision to skip Wimbledon.

Yeah I was sceptical of the decision as well.

Though qualifying was definitely not a certainty and a WC is a treat for a Finn to a Central European tournament.

Even though I too would've liked to see Henri at Wimbledon, I'd say this one win is enough to make it worth skipping the GS. Two wins would be incredible.
