Re: bob bryan & vera zvonareva
Zvonereva, who has been known for letting her own mental frustations take over her game, often shook her head and put her face in her hands after making an error and had to have her confidence bolstered by her partner. When her head was in the game though, she dominated, often pounding aces past the two Aussies.
The second set was closer and slower than the first, with the two teams demonstrating more rallies and better strategy. Often games went to multiple deuces before being decided, but Zvonereva and Bryan continued to play a cleaner match and made fewer errors to keep them one step ahead.
The court started filling up with fans (fresh from the thrilling Capriati-Dementieva semifinal) just in time to see match point, a winner Bryan sailed by Molik and Woodbridge.
Marat: Last question: what do you think of me? Dinara: You are my god! When you play, I love
to see you. When you lose, I am even sadder than when it is me. When you are wounded, I suffer.
When you speak to me, I drink your words. When you come to see me playing, I am with the angels.
