Denis Kudla defaulted for punctuality?!

I was just looking at the qualifying draw for Rosmalen, and it appears that a 17 year old american got defaulted in his second round match for 'punctuality'!

does anyone know what happened? did he oversleep or something?

Why oversleep? Both his matches were on the same day. It happens often enough when a players has 2 matches on the same day. In Eastbourne qualifying it happened too.

Re: Denis Kudla defaulted for punctuality?!

what

No, I mean he forgot he has a second match or was just late for any other reason. If your match gets called and you don't appear on court 15(?) minutes after it, you get defaulted.
