Soda: "Who would you rather play in the final Robin?"

..."Rafa".

OUCH

GO ROBIN

Let's not talk history yet. He's still making it.

Re: Soda: "Who would you rather play in the final Robin?"

Ha His interview was so sweet though, "It's better than the best dream ever." Aww.

Will Federer regain the #1 spot and break Sampras's record for most weeks at the top?

Roger // Rafa // Raonic // Söderling // Goffin // Ivo // Wawrinka // Baker // Delpo

Re: Soda: "Who would you rather play in the final Robin?"

Not a surprise. Melzer is streaky enough that if he's hot no one can keep up with his power. In the Rafa-Soda match it's the opposite, where Soda can hit Nadal off the court. Of course Soda wouldn't say "Nadal is an easy match for me" like a wrestler but that's what he's thinking.

What I find funny about Robin is that he is a bad boy but his voice is so pansy. The voice does not fit him at all

Re: Soda: "Who would you rather play in the final Robin?"

yeah he said "Rafa" and then he was like "nah, kidding"

but as the phrase goes, there's a little of truth in every joke.

And I bet Soderling:
1) Really wants to take all the glory by defeating Rafa again
2) Really believes he can do it again
3) He explained how Berdych was hitting so flat making it so difficult. Soderling is basically pleading for more top spin, so Rafa's top spin will be more comfortable for him.

You mean Cedric Pioline? That's kind of the drawback of having players do the interviews, they weren't hired for speaking ability

Re: Soda: "Who would you rather play in the final Robin?"

He said something like "Yes, Nadal", then "No."

Rematch is on.

Pioline is awful. Yesterday he asked Sam Stosur whether she's ready for Saturday's final about four times. I was cringing throughout.

Great! He's pumped up for the rematch, as well as Rafa will be obviously. Makes for an exciting final for everyone to see.

When he interviewed Rafa the other day he goes "So Rafa - you won the match!"
and then there's this awkward silence as Nadal waits for him to actually ask him something

His accent is fine. I find him easy to understand. Must be your accent that is the problem

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.
