RG SF : Söderling def. Berdych 6-3 3-6 5-7 6-3 6-3

This match was a thing of beauty and Toad makes his second Slam final, hope he can perform better than last year.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Robin

Very tight match with neither player playing that well, especially Söderling was really off in the second and third sets. Berdych didn't also play all that well, IMO he got quite tight in some situations. When Tomasz's serve started fading, Robin took advantage.

Dream final ahead

After Nadal beat Monfils at Doha, before AO 2014

Only Del Potro can take him out before the semis, and he won't. Nadal is winning the AO, bet your house on it.

Tough one as expected – now bring on Nadal!

RF ♦ Mikhail Youzhny ♦ Gilles "FF7" Simon ♦ Dustin Brown ♦ David Goffin ♦ P2H ♦ JMdP

Very very tight match, and great to see Robin grind his way to a victory.

Re: RG SF : Söderling def. Berdych 6-3 3-6 5-7 6-3 6-3

Tough conditions and excellent tournament for Berdych in spite of the result of today.

Robin will have to lift his game.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
