RG R4: Soderling def. Cilic 6-4 6-4 6-2

Another clutchy Marin's appearance . Cilic's mentality is still intangible , above others . Losing a serve to stay in the set should be called with his name . It's just fascinating to watch his coolness in missing , like these misses aren't connected with him . And his first serve is a really huge weapon , against one of the worst returners in top 50 he can't get a few free points on serve . Toad looked somehow exhausted and it was there to take it but Marin was too classy

And Almagro is a great man

RG R4: Söderling def. Cilic 6-4 6-4 6-2

Not bad play in difficult conditions from the Toad.

He is going to have to deal with slice backhands and off pace stuff from Fedclown, lets see if he can do a bit better than last year.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

RG R4: Robin Söderking d. Marin Čilić 6-4, 6-4, 6-2

Great performance by Söderling here. Playing a high-risk game and to good effect most of the times. He was the one dominating and dictating the way the points were played from the very start.

A couple of lapses in the first and the third set but the overall result was never in doubt. Now go for the glory, legend.

Well done Soderling
Dedicated to Everko, Start Da Fail and other Nadaltards who said his path last year was à fluke

Pity he isn't in the Nadal's quarter

Impressive, commanding performance from Sod!
Total demolition job, Cilic had no idea what hit him here.

These heavy conditions - wind, rain - seem to suit him and his game very well indeed. If it stays this way, and judging on what I've seen from both Federer and Soderling today, added to Sod's positive mindset, I surely fancy Soderling's chances in the QF - call me silly, if you like.
