Slamtracker stats still broken

Did anyone notice that Slamtracker is counting winners incorrectly ? Every time there is an ace winners go up by 2.

Re: Slamtracker stats

I guess that would explain Isner's absurdly high number of winners in his match against Chiudinelli where Slamtracker says he fired 83 winners in 4 sets (with 38 aces). Unfortunately I couldn't watch the match myself - can someone verify if this was actually the case?

Re: Slamtracker stats

I don't trust the RG stats at all. In almost every match the players got a lot more winners comparing with UE's. Even the player who get spanked got great stats.

Tsonga - Wawrinka - Del Potro - Gasquet - F.Lopez - Monfils - Haas - Janowicz - Youzhny - Tomic - Hewitt - Gulbis - Mahut - Haase - Schoorel - Sijsling - Huta Galung - De Bakker - Van der Duim - Westerhof - Middelkoop - Koolhof - Lootsma - S&T. Griekspoor - Sels - Van Rijthoven

All time: Safin - Schalken - Krajicek - Sluiter - Verkerk - Henman - Ivanisevic - Nalbandian - Ferrero - Philippoussis - Sampras - Siemerink - Blake - F.Gonzalez - Ancic - Haarhuis/Eltingh

Still supporting all the Dutchies despite their great choking skills
Looking forward to the Dutch Futures and Challengers this summer!

That's a classic case of lack of communication between programmers and operaters.

Namely, usually you count aces towards total winners. So I guess the programmers made it so that aces are automatically added there. However, the operater might not be aware of it, so he might manually increase both aces count, and total winners count. Hence, aces count twice.

Either that, or some silly bug in the code itself. Slackers' job, either way.

Re: Slamtracker stats

It seems they haven't fixed this yet

Federer 1:0 15:15 86 winners 18 aces
Federer 1:0 30:15 88 winners 19 aces

This is really pathetic.

Re: Slamtracker stats

OK but are the stats that appear in the completed matches page correct?

Re: Slamtracker stats

Don't know, I will check after Fed's match ends.

EDIT:

Match is over, stats for Federer:

101 winners 21 aces (Slamtracker).

Stats on Wimbledon page are the same. Shame on you Wimbledon and IBM
