Exactly why Verdasco won't do anything big in his career. Always has a complete mental breakdown at some point. It will cost him in later rounds.

Serra played very good in the third, that's all.
But lacks of consistance to keep this level more than one set.

Strange scoreline, but well done Nando (apart from the 3th set)

BS, it's extremely rare he gets bagelled by anyone, never mind a player like Serra.

But whatever, shouldn't feed the trolls.

Also, what went on at mp, with Fer failing to serve?

He cannot kick with his left foot, he cannot head a ball, he cannot tackle and he doesn't score many goals. Apart from that he's all right.

WTF was that last set?!?! Great work Verdasco, getting bagled and having to play 4 sets. Good luck against Koli tomorrow. That's gonna be fun!

And this is coming from a fan.. Fernando ugh, back to his choking again. Just a continuation of what happened in Madrid.

Maybe 4 or 5 if he wants to get more of a workout in.

Funny stuff. Verdasco looked quite superb at times, then did a total Melzer in the 3rd set.

Well I have never seen something like this before from him. But maybe he just slowed down after he was 3-0 down in the 3th set, he was going to lose that set, so why push?

Then you can't have been following him for very long. This was VERY common before, he never got past the QF and usually choked way before then. I thought he had improved after MC, Barcelona and Rome, but then he started to choke again in Madrid and again now in RG. He doesn't stand a chance against Kohli if he keeps getting these meltdowns..
