Düsseldorf - Berdych def. Isner 1-6 6-1 7-6(4)

Beating Isner in a final set TB

Anyway the tie comes down to the doubles later today, the winner of it makes the final, but we all know the Czechs are going to get destroyed in doubles

I didn't see the match. How did Tomas pull it off?? Isner has had a decent clay season so far.

Isner's tie breaks have gone to hell lately.

All I know is that the 2nd set should of been a bagel and the 3rd set should of gone Tomas' way without the need of a TB

Hmmm didn't see the match but given that they are likely to meet in Paris this is good!

Isner just doesn't have that steely-eyed ultraclutchiness on clay, regardless of how well he's playing.

Credit to Tomas, seems to have given all he could have in the doubles match as well and clearly it wasn't enough! Bring on RG!
