Rome QF: Ferrer def. Tsonga 6-4 6-1

Tsonga was in self-destructing mode with errors flying all over Rome.

Ferrer was solid and kept the ball in play

First set was pretty enjoyable imo, Tsonga even had the bp at 4-4. Needed too high a consistent level from him just to stay with Ferrer though.

Ferru was solid and Tsonga has never been all that good on clay. The result was never in doubt.

It seems like Tsonga's always failing when he's gotta go to the next level. Always trumbles at the first hurdle (but when he's facing Djokovic). DAYUM.

Nalbandian/Davydenko/Berdych/Gulbis/Nadal rock, the rest is more or less sucky.

Tennis has no blood passport system, and does basically no out of competition testing.

The methods and drugs used by Armstrong in 1999 would work in tennis right now, with zero chance of being caught (not slightly surprising to anyone familiar with the topic, btw).

Jo doesn't like clay anyway, it just doesn't suit his big game.
