It's better for tennis of course, because Soderling in that "form" wouldn't be a treat even for Nadal's thumb.

Wawrinka should have bageled S÷derling in the 2nd set. Robin looked very disinterested, but did just enough to not make it embarrassing.

S÷derling simply has yet to quite find his groove on clay, despite the final last week. He's just much better at beating unaccomplished players these days. Many of the runs he has in tournaments now would never have happened some years ago.

It would have been nice for Robin to play Nadal here even though he obviously would have been beaten, but Stan might make it more competitive than Kohlschreiber.

lol, I've been away for 2 weeks and what has happened? Soderling reaches a final, then loses to Stan the man. Usual Soderking stuff.
So, we'll have to wait a bit longer for that rematch with Nadull. I hope they face off in FO again... with Robin in the same form as last year, that is.
