WWW Rome QF: Verdasco VS Djokovic?

I think it will go to three sets this time, but I think Nando will win again. He's very motivated to beat the top players.

Tennis is life...

Only another meltzdown from Nole will stop him from slaughtering Nando thats played so many matches now and hardly any under 2 hours.

That is the correct word to describe his performance in Monte Carlo. To be fair to him I don't think he was ok physically. Even after the first game commentators on sky made that observation and indeed, after the match in an interview Novak said that he had a problem with allergies. He looked very tired from the start of that Monte Carlo semi. I expect him to beat Nando in 2 tight sets tomorrow.

Novak Djokovic Rafael Nadal

David Ferrer - Leyton Hewitt - David Nalbandian - Marcos Baghdatis - Janko Tipsarevic - Tommy Haas

What ever! Nando tired, Nole rested, would go for Nole. However still believe in Nando and let's see what happen. Not forgetting that a week rest earlier would be great for next tourn.

Supporting FERNANDO VERDASCO, whatever it takes. Haters

Indeed!!!!! Nole will have to serve better, focus better, stay away from the "up and down" performance if he wants to win tomorrow. On the other end, I must add, Verdasco was patchy too against Garcia-Lopez and his body language was on the downhill. I sensed a bit of "too much tennis today". Garcia-Lopez was a break down in the 2nd, manage to get the break back and take it to a tie break, but that is when he went away and could not find the court really especially at the beginning of the tie break, which ultimately gave Verrdasco the win..... Having said that for me it's a 50:50 chance.

Djoks in 3 is a safe bet imho.

So someone recently informed me that my sig was empty. Said I needed a life affirming motivational quote by a positive role model like Einstein or Oscar Wilde...

Great tip to stay fit and mobile: If you run up and down the stairs two steps at a time at least once daily, there will never come a time when you can't do it. Until of course one day you mistime a step, collapse and break all your bones... That would suck. But you had a good run.

Not convinced Djokovic can beat Verdasco in this form. Fernando in 3.

Re: WWW Rome QF: Verdasco VS Djokovic?

I want to say Nole, but he's was just OK today. It's going to take more than average to beat Fernando. So it depends totally on Nole's form to me.

I will say Nando in 2 tight sets or 3 sets, but I can see it going any way.

Nole needs to play better than he did today, then he will surely beat Verdasco.
