Feliciano Lopez bts. Marin Cilic 2-6 7-6 6-4

Some great tennis by Feli, he really upped his game a notch or two in that second and third set! Some great serving to get him out of trouble.
This is a great win for him and he is having a good season so far. Hopefully he will be back in the top 30 after this tournament. A seeding at the french will be great.

I was so nervous in that last game, but he made 12 aces(at the right times)!!
Very mentally strong in that match!!!

Pathetic, no offense to Feliciano, but he is a really weak player on clay.
Cilic proves that he doesn't "feel" clay, I'm wondering how he managed to reach the 4R in Roland Garros last year.

I thought that Cilic had improved this year when he reached Aussie Open SF. Now I think I was wrong. He was lucky that Del Potro was injured during their 4th round match, Del Potro hasn't played a match since then

Marin

But absolutely brilliant from Feli, he used his serve at all the right moments and really upped his level in the last two sets. Very happy for him, he's usually not that great on clay.

PS: First time that you thought that he improved his mentality was when he saved MP's against Troicki in Basel .
